The Artist
Tara Riley is a self-taught artist who lives in and paints in
South Londonderry, Vermont with her three, wonderful children.
Her modern landscapes are derived from her connection to nature.
Though her works are not direct representations of any one place, they hope to capture the energy and beauty of the Green Mountains and other natural places Tara visits.
Tara works primarily with acrylic paints, but often uses plaster, gold leaf and other natural materials to add texture to her paintings. She also enjoys incorporating personal photography and poetry into her collage works.
